Health, Safety, Environment and Quality

OGL’s priority is to protect the Health, Safety and Security of everyone involved in or affected by our activities while minimising impact on the Environment wherever we operate and whatever we do.

OGL is committed to actively preventing all Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality incidents and to investigate failures to identify the root cause, to learn and to take appropriate action to improve our performance in the future.

OGL utilises a Business Management System with processes for all our activities to assure the Quality of our Operations, Products and Services. We continually audit, review and monitor our performance and encourage innovation to improve our systems and our performance.

OGL aims to deliver projects and services to our Clients on time, within budget and to the required Quality standards to deliver the best return to our Shareholders.

OGL is committed to working and communicating closely with Clients, Partners and Suppliers on Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality performance to encourage improvement.

OGL is committed to ensuring all of its Employees and Suppliers comply with all applicable international and national laws and regulations in the countries where we operate, and we have implemented a Code of Business Conduct to help achieve this goal.

OGL is committed to assess, monitor, manage and mitigate the risk of foreseeable hazards on Health, Safety, Security, Quality and the Environment while making necessary preparations to manage Incidents and Emergencies.

OGL is committed to provide appropriate Training in Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality to raise Awareness and maintain Competence.

OGL has a Global Management Team (GMT) led by the Chief Executive Officer which oversees all Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality matters. The GMT ensures adequate HSEQ resources are provided, sets Objectives and ensures this policy is implemented and reviewed. We encourage and support a positive HSEQ culture throughout the organisation.

All OGL Line Managers are responsible for fully implementing and actively ensuring compliance with all OGL Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality Policies and Procedures. All Employees and Contractors are responsible for complying with all OGL Policies and Procedures while working for OGL or when on OGL’s sites.
